A few years ago I read about some home inventor who adjusted an old Diesel engine to be capable of running on almost any kind of oil. With lower total power, but without any damage. He ended up running on frying fat from fast food restaurants, who actually paid him to get it. It was said that whereever that car passed, people felt a sudden urge to have fries.

It's called bio diesel and has been in worldwide production for 40 years ....waste oil used to make diesel
